I think theres been an increase in earth quakes and hurricanes lately....

I heard something on the news that some people are talking about that too....

But scientists say, these thinkgs have happened before - they'll happen again.....

But the has been a bit of an increase in weather and nature disturbances.

Britney Spears was until recently in discussions to be in Sweet Charity.

That alone is proof enough for me of the end of the world.

Or at the very least Western civilization.

I don't think it's so much an increase in storms and the like as it is an increase in the number of storms and the like that are actually recorded. There have never been so many settled areas of the world as there are now, meaning more witnesses to geological and meteorological activity. To me, this is more of a "tree-falling-in-the-woods" scenario than it is a "sky-is-falling" scenario.

Why do you think those things are weird? They've happened many times before.

Yawn.

Cuban Missile Crisis was so much more exiting.

Afterward, we all laughed.

I know what you mean ... that's a lot of tie-dye.

Do you know this version? (sublime) :

Essential Nina

The great thing about tie-dye is how it hides the mustard stains.

----------------

Nina is sublime....thanks for that....never heard it.

Glad you liked it ...

It's from this hard-to-get 1971 album "Here Comes the Sun" and shows off a very mellow (and super-orchestrated) Nina (the songs on this album are available on "The Essential Nina Simone" volumes 1 & 2 -- along with others):

If the end of time is nigh then this would be a great album to be listening to when the lights go out
