Default Creative ideas for first dates
I searched, and I couldn't believe we didn't have one of these threads. Seriously. Are we all asexual? I think we could all benefit from trading ideas for those first awkward meets of a potential mate.

Hopefully, you can speak from experience. Do not list the basic "bowling, minigolf, comedy club, etc" crap that we all know already. Post the stuff unique to NYC. Obscure museums, theme bars, anything interesting that kept your date wondering and wanting more.

Post the magical stuff that has worked for you in the past. Even better, post the story that goes along with it. Don't limit it to the island of Manhattan. NYC is five boroughs. I happen to live in Brooklyn and prefer to date inside it but I have a car in case I change my mind

I have a few experiences I would like to share, but I want to hear you guys first.

Actually I WAS going to mention bowling and minigolf.

But other than that, my first dates always included a trip to see Chinatown's famous dancing chicken.

The nicest one was probably the one where we went to Niagara Falls for the night.

My third or fourth date with Mr. front_porch was to the Neue Museum, and afterwards we walked through the snow in Central Park.
