The final espisode of The Sopranos (not merely the last of the "current series") will first be shown on HBO in the US on Sunday, June 10th.

Thanks for the info. I hear that it wont be shown in the U.K. till at least christmas or possibly the new year! I just cant wait that long! If anyone has recorded it on DVD-I would willingly pay to get a copy sent over here when it's finished.
Cheers
Graham.

IMHO: Silvio will be the only one standing at the end ... on a beach in the south seas with pocketfuls of cash and a blonde on the towel next to him.

All others: death, destruction, ruin ...

I just hope they dont kill off Tony! i was shocked when Christopher's time came.

Its going to be a very exciting episode next week. I heard a rumour that it is an hour and a half long for the finale, is it true?

Isn't Silvo lying in a hospital bed full of bullet holes?

My cockamamie prediction: AJ grows some balls, gets with the program, and pulls Michael Corleone.

IMHO: Silvio will be the only one standing at the end ... on a beach in the south seas with pocketfuls of cash and a blonde on the towel next to him.

All others: death, destruction, ruin ...

a friend of mine thinks that tony will sell out to his FBI contact, pick up his wife and kids and enter the witness protection program. Kind of makes sense, all his trusted captains (except for paulie walnuts - god i love that name!) are gone. I mean, if he wins out, he has to rebuild the family from the gound up.

It should be a good one though. Like Lofter, I wish it would go 8 hours or more.

I like the idea of them going into witness protection, could be a good one to use, brings room for a comeback then too.

i think AJ will have a big part in the last episode though, like some others have mentioned, he certainly seems to be coming to light a bit more in the second part of the final series

Thats another sceario, Uncle Junior is being moved to a different mental facility isnt he run by the state, maybe he'll break out and come looking for Tony to finish him this time.

It was a complete let down, thought it was going to be something explosive happening. The end where the "shady" men came in was the most gripping it got.

I'm really glad they didnt kill Tony off though, i suppose its left room for a comeback or a film one day, but it seems a bit unfinished to me.

Brilliant series though

good serious, very weak ending. Needed som type of closure, i guess closure is Tony lives on and his issues continue
