No, the problem is how judgemental you are being. Do you see these people judging you for going to York on your own? The fact that you are looking down your nose on people enjoying themselves in a way you don't understand says far more about you than them.

Why don't you ask the police or the staff at your local A&E if I'm being judgemental. The people you say are "enjoying themselves" don't give a stuff about the people around them.

The fact you could even compare me going on holiday alone to people getting plastered is ridiculous.
