So, it is my ISP's fault for dumping my connection? Or is it really, really bad design that I can not play game that are on my hard drive because a PoS UI needs to update (for the 30th time this week)?

Did you attempt to go to the games directory and run the executable?

Just tried with Borderlands and BC2, works fine!
