Default Hulk vs Superman
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CDBNB...eature=related

Who would actually win??

Hulk has unlimited strength and only gets stronger the more he gets pissed.
Superman has speed and limited strength and lasers shooting out his eyes...

I say Hulk would win as he doesnt get tired and heals immediately....not sure if superman heals fast or not

p.s. I love how the video shows superman as Christopher reeves

I suppose on which continuity is used. Superman as been de-powered over the years for the purposes of better storylines.

This is like a Star Wars vs Star Trek debate. It only gets uglier with no resolution.

Thank you for that. It was awesome. Superman can just stay out of his way and chip him down if he has to. When I was 8 years old, Christopher Reeves WAS superman. That movie was as great as Star Wars was to me back then. Of course I prefer Star Wars over it these days.

It's Reeve, not Reeves!

If I was Superman, I would grab Hulk by the hair, fly into space, and launch him at the sun. /End

With superman not willing to kill the hulk and superman being able to take 1 hell of a beating (darkseid anyone?)
This go on for a while, but asuming that Banner is still there i would say it ends in a stalemate.
Besides superman would be smart enough not to piss off the hulk more.

The gods fear the hulk... Its no contest the hulk would win in a fight. The only way to deal with the hulk is to send him away into another solar system. Repeat if and when he returns. Given that he is the hulk he will just end up fighting what ever is in that solar system.

See what a larger audience thinks

http://whowouldwinafight.com/hulk-vs-superman/

My opinion may be stupid but considering superman can accelerate his entire mass to the speed of light, a feat that we know the hulk cant do makes me think the hulks strength is limited by comparison. If the hulks strength was truly unlimited surely accelerating himself to that speed would be no problem but he doesnt. Although given that both are mentioned in comics as being invulnerable it doesnt matter who may have a perceivable upperhand as both cannot be killed, even if the hulk managed to get some kryponite which would seriously weaken superman. If they're both vulnerable im sure one hit from superman at the speed of light would put the hulk down for good.

Some of the Gods of the marvel universe could easily undo the hulk, specifically the One Above All

On a related note: Since banners regenerative/healing abilities is what allowed the hulk to be created what would happen if wolverine were exposed to the same gamma ray radiation that created the hulk? A hulk with an adamantium skeleton and claws?

He's essentially solar powered, he regains and accelerates strength and healing if he flies closer to a star. He's defeated other enemies like this before in the comics by 'charging' himself up into a pseudo-godmode.

As for who would win?, it's rock paper scissors really, Superman could try freezing him to slow him down (you can't permanently imprison The Hulk, it just makes him more mad and he'll rip whatever it is apart eventually), and then try launch him into a black hole (infinite mass/gravity vs infinite strength).

If Hulk got hold of him, he could do the puny god scene from Avengers and stomp him flat into the ground like a pancake, and throw him into the debris field of Krypton (but that would only weaken/poison him into a state of unconsciousness).

Bascially they are both stupidly overpowered characters, the only limit you could have with them is your own imagination.

That would just piss off the Hulk, he's impervious to heat, vacuum, doesn't need to breathe etc. And he can travel around in space by just jumping from planet to asteroid and back to planet! (or the core of a star!)

Calm the Hulk, inject him with a ton of anti-anxiety medicine, using an adamantium syringe, (the only substance know to have broken his skin,) then just keep Banner stoned the rest of his life.

Hulk's strength isn't limited, and he's the only character to have stopped the unstoppable 'Juggernaut' in his tracks with brute physical power ffs!

I was thinking the same thing. Superman is practically invincible, save Kryptonite, so he's stronger than any other super-hero.

Science rant (powerarmour):

Black holes do not have infinite gravity/mass. There are black holes of different sizes (even black holes orbiting other black holes). Infinity can not greater than infinity, so if they were infinite different sizes could not exist!

What if Superman trapped the Hulk in that weird bubble from Superman III, flew him into space, and left him in orbit? The blissful inactivity of silently orbiting the Earth would cause the Hulk to revert to Bruce Banner who would then either suffocate or freeze to death. /End

Semantics, the mass of the singularity is great enough that light cannot escape, no matter the size of the black hole, spacetime has been curved. I think it's about as close to infinity as we could care to calculate!

Well if the hulk gets more powerful the more angry he gets surely all superman has to do its be absolutely charmingly nice to him to defeat him.
