Default do you still go for a spin ?
what with the fuel price rises and congestion, do you still take the ole car ooot for a quick spin round the country lanes ?

I still enjoy driving, when I don't have to drive to commute, luckily I live in the country and my commute is quite pleasurable (windy roads).

what say yee ?

Used to sometimes in the older car, not any more really. Either because of the price of fuel or just I have other interests now. When I last filled up, the local Shell was 128.9p, now its 134.9p, quite a dramatic rise, most of the previous price dropping has been wiped out.

I'm fortunate enough to live near mostly everything I enjoy, so driving is kept to a fairly low minimum. I generally take my bike for evening strolls to watch the sunset. Having read what I just wrote, I now realize how quickly I am turning into an old man. Time to change my diaper.

When i had my fast car, yes I went for drives all the time. Now no, I changed to something cheaper as saving for bits for my house next year.

In the Suzuki yes, if I can find some tracks and off-roady bits. In the Audi, no not really.

The motorcycle, yes; the car, almost never. At least, not without having at least some place I've got to go to. Most times I take the bike or car to work / a thing / a friend, and then add a little cruise to it. Take the long way home, so to speak.

I do more track days now though, which greatly reduces the desire to drive (fast) on public roads.

Yeah, fxxk it, nearly anything that's fun costs money anyway, so why not spend some on driving around just for the enjoyment of it?

Not nearly as much as I used to. I think its more that Im busy at work and with the new baby, theres rarely any free time left. But I sure do miss driving out on some country roads, no destination, no worries.

Would you drive off road in that?

This though, but with new wheels and tyres now...

Yeah I still drive around for fun sometimes. Not far, mind you, but my Impala gets good enough gas mileage that I generally don't feel bad about driving it when I want to.
