Personally, I'd consider a paella and beef wellington easy dishes, a curry from scratch a medium dish and anything from the dessert range to be completely impossible. That will vary from person to person though.
I'm not too educated in the history of Indian cuisine, but a curry (to me) is throwing all kinds of stuff into a big pot and cooking it. Done the old fashioned Indian way i'm sure quantities etc were all very vague. Taste of course can be stunning, but it's just down to knowing what to put in. i.e. following a recipe. Timings of meat cooking is easy, and quantities being a bit out doesn't matter either. What i'm saying is, the difficulty doesn't necessarily equate to how good is tastes.

Just admit it, when you said English cuisine was easy, you were thinking beans on toast.

Anyway, has anyone from the UK watched Rachel Khoo in her Little Paris Kitchen? Stunning.

I'm amazed you've managed to try all 'American' food in your short stay. I've been here 8 years and still haven't been to every restaurant in 'America' or even NY State.

How did you do it so fast?
At least he's actually been to American to sample some of it. Unlike some who call English food bad when they can't even point to the place on a map.

I admit though, OHP did start it.

As much as I love a good cross-pond pissing match, how did we get onto the intricacies of Beef Wellington from weather forecasts
It was cowfully orchestrated.

To be honest, I just couldn't think of anything English other than a roast dinner!

Skinheads on rafts is the best cuisine in the world, bar none.

It isn't, they aren't.

How long did it take you to try every kind of tea and beer in the world?
I've tried more kinds of tea and beer in the world than you. Does that suffice?

he he,so cool, but I wish it would be a zombie attack one though instead of flash flood warning transmission.
Not when it is much more severe then a flash flood warning. My weather monitor went off last night. Man did the sky look pissed off. The storm tried spitting out some tornadoes, one near my house again , but thankfully so far none have been reported so far.
I was out with my brother in town when the sh/t came out of nowhere, he was driving while I was telling him were to go to avoid the most nasty of stuff using radar on my phone. If we had stayed where we were earlier in the day, we would have been directly hit.
