I haven't given up drinking completely, but I certainly drink way less than I used to. I still go out with the guys almost every week and have a few, but that's about it. If you're looking to lose some weight, cutting back or even giving it up is a good way to start. There are plenty of calories that you won't "miss" in alcohol, as well as soda, juice, etc. With some better eating and exercise, I've managed to lose 25 pounds since February.
![]() ![]() By the way, I'd be concerned that you feel so horrible after drinking. I'd talk to your doctor about it if the amounts you're drinking never affected you in this way in the past. |
