It's brain is in it's skull. Most of it's face is still their too, it is looking around wondering what the fuss is.
What is amazing is it isn't bleeding more, and demonstrates their ability to withstand enormous trauma and pain. Makes us humans kinda wimpy. /worked on a cattle station with 25,000 head of cattle, seen many things. Kinda angry they just stand there and look, it would take 10 seconds to kill it if you know what your doing. |

2 weeks ago i witnessed how someone thought that he could beat a train by running across a crossing.
He got hit in the back and smacked down. Me and 2 others went to him to see if we could do anything, which ended up being putting a blanket over him and talking to him while he was still awake. Before we put the blanket on him i saw that most of his back was missing, he didnt bleed much as the impact already removed alot of blood. His first reaction, at least when we got there, was to stand up. And till the ambulance arrived he never showed any pain. Just tired and confussed. So in short, i know a cow isnt a human. But it seemed similar in they way they acted, ie cow just standing there and the man just laying there and talking about how he just got off work. |

Do you have nightmares, now? Longer version (bear with me, typing it out helps ![]() I had a front view seat and was relaxed as hell (not the accident, before) You see the crossing in question is next to a disposal collection yard. A long freight train gets filled with trash and then leaves for burning it somewhere else. The train has to get on the main track. Set the switch and they have to walk to a phone box to call in that they are going their way. This takes around 2-5 minutes before the crossing is cleared. Ussualy the last thing they do is move the freight train from the crossing far enough for the barrier to open. They did just that, but the barrier didnt go up. So this dude in a rush didnt want to wait longer and went under the barrier. I was across him sitting in my car. Windows open cuz i knew i had to wait. It was sunny so relaxed as can be. Saw him going for it and started to curse the man for not waiting, at that second i noticed a yellow spot in my left eye moving quickly and realised with horror that it was the intercity train comming from the other way, hence the reason the barrier was still closed. I hear the train horn and see the guy turning his head and speeding up. Needles to say the train won. It was close tho and he almost made it, but still got hit in the back by a piece of steel going 130 km/h. Will never forget that moment. 1 second he was running the next his body got yanked down instantly and he hit the concrete just past the next barrier. Can tell u 1 thing, as much as i wanted to rage on the guy for being an idiot. When i got there and talked to him i only had pity for him. No one deserves to die like that. |
