It can only get information if you allow all users (public) in the Steam options I guess.

The other is for users logged into steam.

Yeah dont worry you wont have to build up all that hate because it changes your name... people will still know who you are and that your around unfortunately.

I had it next to the facebook button but it causes issues with chrome so I have to create a plug in for it similar to the way the facebook log-in was created to keep it from messing up in chrome when placed there.

Chrome is a pain with LI elements. Try setting them to be inline-block in CSS and it should fix your problem.

Cool Feature to add. Although, personally I hate the placement of it being top right. Makes the forum look messy in my eyes. Having said that, I hate signatures too

You might have to fiddle with the UL CSS as well depending on how it's nested, but it's definitely fixable.

I hate signatures too

You can hide signatures and avatars, even images if you wish.

Go to Settings (top right) and then click on General Settings in the menu on the left. The options to show signatures, avatars and images are in Thread Display Options halfway down the page.

Just log into the steam web site and set up your profile. If you just install steam and don't bother to set up your profile fully there is nothing there for it to show.
