This was a comment posted on another tech site about the launch of the Galaxy SIII. The irony floored me, but I can't tell whether it's brilliantly prophetic or frighteningly stupid.

"I love the fact that they concentrated on software features which is very good of them. The hardware is very disappointing. Nothing very impressive compared to the HTC One X. I don't care about this voice recognition crap. You look like a complete tool talking to a phone."

It's really weird seeing someone walk past you and say, "ello maaaaaaaayte", looking back and thinking with a puzzled look and remembering "one of those Bluetooth dicks". Apart from having to correct spellings now and then, Swype etc are often quicker than typing, and doesn't make yourself look like you've got a psychotic mental disorder who has imaginary mates.
