Finally had time to watch The Avengers in the cinema last Sunday.
So we sit down and the trailers start to roll, Prometheus first en then the Spiderman one starts.
So i sit there and am ready to hate it (my brother included, who was with me)

Funny thing, i think its starting to grow on me. Looks alot more like the comic then the other ones.
Might give it a chance

I have read that they are releasing movies abroad because I guess Euro's are more receptive when it doesn't already bomb in the US. Something has to explain how Battleship has already cleared 200m. Though from what I have read, it sounds as though Avenger's could be Oscar Worthy. [shocked]

Battleship is a thoroughly awesome film, that is why it has cleared 200m so far! As to Avengers, I very much doubt it is oscar worthy, however the 3D effects are pretty exceptional.

I havent watched the movie yet as its not out yet. It will come the 4th of July.
And i may see it, despite my previous hatred against it.
