Bailiffs only show up at your door after about 20 letters, requests for payments and finally a court injuction. If you're too lazy to sort out the situation at an earlier stage then you deserve the hassle.

My father is an OAP, he got a parking fine and ignored it because he thought it was a scam. It was only after he mentioned the "scam" to me that I saw the half dozen demands he'd gotten through the post. It cost him about £90 in the end in costs. I very much doubt balifs will come round without multiple attempts to contact the person involved.

They are probably actually just some DCA rogues looking for some commission on every debt collected. Who have 0 legal rights to be on your property if you tell them to leave.

300 quid for a 30quid fine, i would have said the same to that guy. Before it is judged in court then those big bullying ****ers have 0 legal rights and should be told to stop harassing you in the politest way possible.
