I have no idea. The smell is vomit inducing, and there were about 40 vultures on my dock. I'm guessing either a goat or a dog. The head in the box is a little disturbing. [surrender]

Is that the carcass of a dog with it's head inside a box covered in a waste bag?

I took the photo yesterday and will have to wait for the tide to lower.

Who knows how that happened, but wow..... that is creepy. I guess we'll know if the box/plastic is duct taped to the carcass; but honestly... were I you... I'd just go in and try to forget the whole thing.

My guess is the creature's head was encased in concrete to make it sink properly.

Is this the dog equivalent of flushing a goldfish down the toilet?

If it is a dog (looks a bit like it from the photo) then chances are its been used for fighting, killed and now they got rid of the body.

I've had to put a box over a few dog's heads in my time, but not in this capacity.
