If people would actually read the NT, then they would know most of the followers and even Jesus went through pain and suffering. can't just ask God to help you and think he'll prevent everything from happening. Most of us learn things about life through suffering unfortunately.

Which form of Je$u$ do you subscribe to?

Do you subscribe to the Jesus that IS God (whilst simultaneously being his son)? If so, then you are wrong and probably have not read the New Testament.

From the very beginning of the book, he was, pardon my retardation, "performing miracles" and doing magic. And it was not like he only did these things when someone was in dire need... for example, they ran out of wine at a wedding and Jesus performed the very first recorded version of "buying out the bar" and turned a bunch of jugs of water into wine.

Sure, people can suffer around the world and cry for help, but they get ignored. But, wherever there is a boring wedding that needs booze, Jesus is there.
