Default Spartacus Vengeance, blood and sand, tits and ****, dear lord!
Has anyone seen this lately, it might as well be porn with the amount of nudity and sexual scenes in there, though i reckon it has a slightly better storyline than most porn, lol

That TV show?

I watched the first thirty minutes of the first episode and it was some of the most boring television I have ever watched. The art style was awful as well.

I would suggest The Wire.

I watched the first season on Netflix over a year ago. For some reason, the 2nd season was removed from Netflix or something. Is this a new season? In that trailer, I see lots of scenes from the first season, and a few scenes I've never seen.

Bingo. It is bi-homo-hetero-gang-bang-storyline. [popcorn]
After all, Romans were inventors of super-orgy life style.

I liked the first two seasons for casual entertainment but still haven't got used to the new lead guy, he just doesn't quite fit for me and it's 3 episodes in.

Despite its hate, I LOVED S1. S2 was meh. And I'm really sad about Andy, I just don't see how any show can replace the lead and keep him as the same character. I guess I was kinda ready for the show to end unfortunately due to his death, but they decided to keep it going.

I suppose i'll check it out when it's fully released cause I don't have Starz anymore.

Yeah the first episode was awful, I quit the series until a friend made me go back and keep watching. The second episode was okay. Then they turned the awesome to 11 and didn't look back. [thumbsup]
Can't wait for the new season!

I like this series a lot. Haven't started season 3 yet. Might wait until all the episodes come out, that way I can watch them all in 2 or 3 nights.

Yeah, that's going down the drain as well.

Some of the background slaves/crowd scene girls and women are also rather stunning - funny thing is that, despite it being a local production, I don't recall ever seeing them around - could be a case of 'sorry, I didn't recognise you with your clothes on'

Never watched or even heard anything about this series, but from the Trailer it looks like a cheap tv version of 300. Didnt impress me.

Not at all my freind.

I first watched the pilot episode of this series a while back, thought the same thing. Then one day me and my wife sat down on a weekend and for some reason watched the entire Blood and Sand season, we loved it immensely. The we watched Gods of the arena and now we are ready for more.

The trailers dont do this show justice and if you judge the show off of the first episode of blood and sand, your missing out!

The 1st couple of episodes of season 1 sucked, but 3 or 4 onward were pretty good. Blood, gore and sexual debauchery accounts for at least 50% of each show. I look at it as a more graphic version of Rome. It had much backhanded conniving in 1st 2 seasons to keep me interested. Season 3, though, sucks and I have no desire to watch it.

I will tell you what it is not. It is not glitter vampires. As trashy a show it might be, it still has more substance than a lot of trash being watched.

How much appeal would this lose if it didn't have the "sexual debauchery" part?

I haven't seen it, I'm just asking.
To be honest, I watched Game Of Thrones and the mandatory sex scenes in every episode were becoming truly comical.

A bunch of scenes from the first season of Game of thrones were filmed 5 km away from here. My brother was an extra.

The nude/half-naked extras we're brought in from abroad.

They probably couldn't find any locals ready to strip down.

Most of the graphics look like they were designed for the PS3 so I was confused whether I was watching gameplay mixed with a lot of cinematics [rofl]
