i'd recommend consulting your gp, especially if you have any pre existing kidney or liver problems.

if you are perfectly healthy there doesnt seem to be any dangers associated with low doses. but that will always remain to be seen.

In my experience, creatine is NOT worth it. It's fake. It's not natural. Your muscles with just be big water bags. You're best bet, for building muscle, is plain ole protein and maybe a few vitamins.

mostly you will get water gain, not much else. If you were in some type of sport training, there could be minimal gains... but you would be better off with protein shakes, if you are trying to build muscle mass.

I compete in powerlifting, it's not worth it... I've tried it consistently for long periods and gone off it, no difference. More or less a waste of money, spend the money on good healthy food. Supplements are all pretty much rip off/marketing hype BS beyond caffeine, ephedra, and whey protein (which you don't need if you get enough protein in your normal diet, it can just be convenient).

And as for the aching, I'm assuming you mean muscle soreness... That's pretty normal, especially for people who haven't exercised/lifted in a while. After a 2-3 weeks of consistent training, it will be much better if not completely go away... It will come back when you change exercises/your program, or take some time off and get back to it.

Creatine is found in red meat and some fish. How is that not natural?

Maybe so, but taking it out of a big drum as flavored white powder is not my idea of natural. In any case, i'm sure you understood what my point was [thumbup]

So buy it unflavoured and pure. I haven't used it myself anyway.

Entering it on signup or on checkout? The website has recently been updated and it must be entered on signup, not checkout. This is going to be changed back soon though...

It does seem to help you get another rep out maybe but overall it is just another dodgy supplement tbh.... After trying most different supplements out over the past 5 years the only supplement I take now is a B vitamin tablet and thats it.... IMO most bodybuilding supplements are a waste of money and you are FAR better getting that stuff from food.... Eat some red meat that has a lot of creatine in it

There's a decent amount of bullsh*t in this thread......

Creatine is a supplement to a naturally occurring product of your body, it usually means you can do one or two more reps, which is invaluable when you are strength training as its the last reps where all the damage to your muscle is done. (Which means your body repairs the muscle to be stronger.)

http://www.building-muscle101.com/ho...tine-work.html

Its not one of those supplements you can just take every now and then, if you are using it you have to keep using it everyday to keep your levels up or they quickly drop off.

I used Creatine for 18 months while doing weights... I found the only thing is did was make me appear bigger as you seem to retain water on it./ Did I get any benefit out of it? Doubtful... wouldn't waste your money, stick to protein and iron man.
