They're both an embarrassment to the sport. What kind of a fighter slaps his opponent at the weigh in, spits water in his face when they are toe to toe in the ring and kicks off at the press conference, (with someone) hitting the other camps trainer with a bottle? He shouldn't be allowed to fight imo. [thumbdown]

Same old crap... makes boxing look more and more like WWF...shame, boxing used to be the gentlemans sport, now it's that desperate to create ratings and interest, it needs this ****. Last great heavyweight was Tyson, since then, not even worth getting out of bed for. Now Lennox Lewis was very chilled and I never heard a bad word about him. |

Such a gentleman that Tyson. Even had the manners to bite ears off. ![]() Lennox Lewis was possibly, with Riddock Bowe the two most over rated heavyweight champs since Larry Holmes. Since Ali in 1979, the last couple of boxers that I rated were (and bear in mind, it's obviously personal opinon); Evander Holyfield, Mike Tyson... really if you check some of the names of people since then... there's no one that you would call great... I can't see anyone. Anyone else have any feelings on this? EDIT: Infact check here for the list of losers in heavyweight boxing since 2000... jesus... |

I have a soft spot for good old Frank Bruno, he wasn't the most amazing fighter, but he was better than most give him credit for. He was a proper gent, in fact that was part of his problem, he just wasn't nasty enough, he never had that killer instinct like Tyson had. Agreed never had that killer instinct, if he hit you, there weren't many with the sheer power he had, superb speciman, however when he caught Tyson and badly wobbled him, he could've gone down in history with a few more punches... and threw it away... bit like Henry Cooper lol. Too rigid with none of Tyson's maneuverability... know what I mean 'arry? ![]() ![]() |

Just goes to show you what consummate professionals the Klitschkos are and what mugs Chisora and Haye are. These two bums have nothing to offer in the ring so they resort to all sorts of shenanigans outside the ring and it still doesn't work for them. After all the trash talk and shameful behavior is done, they cower and take mouths full of leather from the only real talent in the division. Chisora had a few decent rounds in the middle of the fight but he ended up losing to a 40 year old man who looked every year of his age in the ring and still won convincingly despite it.
Suspend both Chisora and Haye for everyone's benefit. They don't add any worthy contention to the division and it's not like there's all that much to watch in heavyweight besides. |
