I know when they changed the servers years back people had to submit their tag and joindate so they could continue using the same name, but why lie about your joindate?

That was only to prove who they were so we could give them their account back.
The join date is server set only, there is no way a user can change those settings (only an admin, and we wouldn't change it anyway) so no user has lied...
