It probably doesn't look much bigger than my last one, but it is a hell of a lot bigger and better
imo.

Since we're so skint at the moment, both got long term illnesses and I had a car crash that did my back in last year, we've not got much cash to spare, so because she had a spare 32" LCD TV that she got when she was with her ex-hubby, she traded that in for me and got me the new monitor at CEX (yes I know their overpriced, but still).

I think she saw my face light up when I saw the monitor, it's a HP x23LED and even though my old monitor was a LG 203W and was a 20.1" and this is a 23", I think there is quite a difference in surface area, also the old monitor was 1680*1050 and this new one is 1920*1080, so I got a boost in res without too much of a framerate loss by going up resolutions.

I've tried Skyrim and it looks amazing, much brighter colours and deeper blacks, whiter whites etc.

And since my g/f was so nice to me today I gave her my old laptop which I don't use any more, a HP HDX18, told her she can have it as an early birthday present, so everyone's happy.

I know where this is headed. She thinks that if she gets you a new monitor, you will look up more porn, which means less time bugging her for sex. Unless it's the other way around, and she figures the old monitor was not big enough for both of you to look at? [surrender]
