...but i'm in a bit of a pessimistic mood at the moment, and was just thinking that we all know this forum will not last forever. When does one decide that its time has come?

FM/MO sure will carry on producing great software, but will this forum be an after thought to the peeps in charge?

It is a thought that lingers in mind from time to time.. what would it take to shut down Futuremark community forums... Probably sales so low that there isn't enough to cover employee costs and upkeep expenses.

That said this discussion forum is the first place I go to when I have time to access the net whether it be at work, on the road, or at home and I don't want to ever see it close.

I think the forums would be one of the last things to go. It's a driving force when it comes spreading the word about FM products, almost as important as the Orb, it's probably the best marketing tool they have.
