Default Unbelievable Company DO NOT ORDER FROM THEM (lets name and shame)

We Are Electricals... blimey what a bunch of tools. The missus ordered me another monitor for my birthday in November on the 13th November 2011, which was cancelled due to them being tools and not delivering for 10 days and making excuses. The missus hadn't obviously read any reviews on internet from these muppets!

However, the refund STILL hasn't gone in, we cancelled on the 23rd November. I've actually posted the last few responses from them not Sharon but used her name... as this is a joke!
They've had my money fro 45 days now and 30 working days...

I'll actually post the responses from them!

    Shame as yopu sell cheap stuff, if you ran a more reliable outfit, ie. not delaying my monitor by nearly 2 weeks, then I'm sure you'd be a very good company. Just a thought for you guys.!

    We are now on the 7th January 2012 and as of this morning NOTHING has been refunded. Monday is by my calculations the 30th working day, so I'll be expecting that if this is the case, come Monday the money will be back into our account.

    I have to admit that to push it the full 30 days from yourselves (well done, hope you've made some interest off it), when another company like Play can do this within 24 hours, just about sums up your companies problems I'm afraid.

    If you do break the 30 days, I will be seeking legal advice ASAP and I myself will also push the boundaries of the law.

    Shame it's had to come to this.

Now I know what you guys are going to say, don't slag them off until you have the money, that's fine, what I'm getting over to you guys on the forum is, this company as can be seen on Google take your cash and push the letter of the law to the limit... so, they have until Monday. Imagine it goes in, that's £145 notes they've had of OUR money since the 13th November and I MIGHT get it back this Monday.

So you guys had any bad experiences from companies that are still around? lets name and shame them! Why not... it's disgusting these companies can get away with this type of service and STILL be in business? incredible infact!

Sod that - nip down to Citizen's Advice, or whatever you have, check out your legal situation - whatever they have on their site is irrelevant as your statutary rights overrule anything they have on their site. You may also want to pursue a small claims against them not forgetting any costs or penalties you may be eligible for.
BTW, what payment method was used? If a credit card, I'd've expected her to have cancelled the payment when cancelling the order.

As far as I can see, they're taking the Micheal - if they called up the account to check her account, they could have cancelled it then - in the meantime, they're using her money interest free!

You guys don't have the BBB in the UK? Better Business Bureau.


Whenever I've had problems with some company trying to give me the shaft or screw me over I take it to them and within a couple weeks it is sorted.

Yeah some companies are useless. And sometimes not the ones you'd expect. Always best to check review sites if it's a company that's new to you.
