I don't think anyone quit facebook, everyone just made G+ accounts too. Then nobody I knew except Chaz posted on there, so I forgot about it.

I know from my 14 yr old nephew that literally all the kids are using Facebook. And no one has ever heard about Google+.

I dont use either, but when I hear something about a social network then its always Facebook.

I do use gmail though, which is in my opinion the best free e-mail service.

I really don't see it dying. Unlike Buzz/(any other failed google produce) Google's starting the ramp up on pushing plus hard with integration into all google products. If they play their cards right the android integration alone should give it a huge boost. But that's assuming they do play their cards right, which I've never seen google do (product wise).

I think google+ has some good things going for it but everyone has FaceBook and I think unless someone has all their friends move to google+ then they won't bother

I noticed that ChromeBooks are out now. I really don't think they're going to do well

It's dead. Hell, facebook isn't nearly as active as it used to be. I think most people just stay with facebook because it's already there.

And people are used to it.

If Google marketted it well, I think ChromeBooks could really take off. Most people these days just seem to use their PCs for internet/email/office. ChromeBooks can do all that for a similar price of a low-end Windows laptop, but without the virus problems (because the OS is locked down).

I know you can just use Chrome on it though - but can you do much else? Such as ...

Save files
Burn / Rip music CDs
Install Skype
Install anything other than Chrome apps?

Not even close to dead, my stream is constantly being updated. It's like Facebook for grownups, not full off crappy games and pointless drivel.

It was never alive to begin with. In fact, it's more of a burden to use than anything else.

It's just another social networking site you have to maintain, or customise your web experience for with absolutely no benefit whatsoever. Until I start seeing ads on TV or print that say "follow us on Google+" like they do for Facebook or Twitter, I am going to keep skipping over it.

But clients still ask for it to be added to their sites, as part of their social networking/marketing package. I tell them they are free to have it, but don't expect anything to come of it.

google should include "google+ hate" buttons in all google results to get the bitter, vindictive users (like me) to sign up.

900000+ users hate this website, all with the click of a button. class.
