Default Clever people will know things that other people don't
(Obviously the person being explained to needs to be on a certain level but still...)

Really really clever people know when to explain things to other people and when to keep silent.

But you don't keep silent. You call someone an idiot, throw out some terms, and act all smug.

You'd make a terrible educator if this is how you really are.

Speaking from 6 years' experience, in general it's more effort than it's worth to really "teach" people. The clever ones learn it relatively painlessly on their own, the dumb ones will never truly learn it, and there are relatively few in between.

I keep silent about explaining it, while loudly explaining why you're an idiot.

Incidentally, I have been an educator, and my last year of being one I won the department's teaching award...
And Barrack Obama won the nobel peace prize in his first year of office.

Harsh on KH to draw such a parallel.
