Yeah but it was Siberia which is pretty much as middle of no where as you can get. And I've never seen any solid evidence of fragments. I know they think they may have found a crater and that some of the trees had material that might have been from space, but nothing definitive.
Yes, Siberia is the middle of nowhere. A vast, tremendously unpleasant wasteland, in fact. Do you think that might be one reason why they haven't combed every inch for meteor fragments?

Yeah I've seen theories that Tesla may have been involved. That makes sense because he was also trying to build a death ray even though there was nothing like a death ray back then. We had no idea what lasers were or anything so why would he come up with that?
H.G. Wells described something very similar to a laser in his War of the Worlds, at roughly the same time as the Tunguska Event. Also, any experiment that produced a nuclear-size blast decades before WWII would damned well have been followed up on!

It wouldn't necessarily be followed up on because people back then had limited resources to use the technology they may have been able to get a hold of.

"Hey, Tesla, didja build that death ray we're paying you do develop?"
"No, but I sort of accidentally created an explosion large enough to vaporize a city--"
"--screw that! We want a death ray, dammit!"
The Russians have the designs for that, Elok.

It wasn't governments paying Tesla and other scientists to do stuff, really. It was governments getting smart people to use the technology they had discovered.

I presume there was only one [machine/bomb/weapon/whatever] left behind at the time warrior ammo dump. The Ruskies blew it up trying to figure it out.

You provide a link to an article where Cheney explicitly indicates the Iraqis had no involvement in 911 as proof positive that the admin made such a claim. I'm puzzled by such a bold debating strategy!

Kudos!
The former vice president said in 2004 that the evidence was "overwhelming" that al Qaeda had a relationship with Hussein's regime in Iraq, and that media reports suggesting that the commission investigating the 9/11 attacks reached a contradictory conclusion were "irresponsible."

"There clearly was a relationship. It's been testified to. The evidence is overwhelming," Cheney said at the time.

"It goes back to the early '90s. It involves a whole series of contacts, high-level contacts with Osama bin Laden and Iraqi intelligence officials."

I agree that the Tunguska thing is strange. Think about it, evidence we have from movies etc. indicates that space aliens will land on North American soil first. So what in hell were they doin' in Czarist Russia's Siberia in 1908???
It is true that space aliens, whether rampaging or peaceful nearly always land in Los Angeles or New York. In fact there is a huge battle with savage aliens coming up in Los Angeles next month. Aliens rarely land elsewhere alyhough there was a giant alien spaceship hovering over Johannesburg for many months.

It would, based on the movies be highly unusual for aliens to land in Siberia which I think exposes the whole Tunguska thing as a hoax.

Unfortunately there are tards who are too stupid to understand that Hollywood movie are completely true.

Fine. Did you google any others? I gave you a link to a article that one could view as fair and balanced since it was made well after the fact. At least it shows that the Bush administartion 'hinted' ("strong and overwhelming evidence") at an involvement, a claim that Cheney now(2009) has to refute. Have you forgotten about all the fuzz about Iraqi secret agents meeting with The Evil in Vienna (IIRC). Have you forgotten that the war was jusitified in the light of 9/11 because of said meetings? The war was part of the grand War on Terror and Saddam HAD to be tied into it. WMD alone weren't sufficient. Do yourself a favor and google some saddam 9/11. You'll see that the claim made is far from farfetched.

I also remember the administration was scrupulous in making sure they never made the claim that Iraq had any involvement in 911 Oh, please. The implied connection was obvious. So obvious that IIRC something like 65% of the public believed Saddam was involved in 9/11 (that has since dropped, but still something like 1/4 or 1/3 believe it). That, in turn, amped up public support for the war. As if Cheney and friends didn't love it (all the while "scrupulously" avoiding claiming direct involvement).

But the government counts on "the public" not being smart. So they don't even have to try to make a good case and they know people will believe. That's good propaganda.

Well that's because a lot of time when people do do something about it suddenly they're gone!

It's true man. The government really does "disappear" people. And not just since 9/11. It's been happening forever.

How is that a cop out? I have proof that the government does these things.
