It's possible they weren't traveling from that far away. Or that they can cancel out the distance somehow.

Eh. I think if there were a Nibiru we would have found it by now. There are a lot of amateur astronomers these days. No I think if there are aliens they're coming from somewhere harder to detect.

I think Erich Von Daniken is just trying to sell books with fantastic theories.
He reminds me of a snake oil salesman.
Sometimes he just goes off into left field.
I saw a documentary while back that did prove he did a lot of fraud in finding /having made material for his book CoTG.
True. somethings on this planet cannot be explained, rather than aliens the humans at that time may have been more advanced than we think. ( lost knowledge? )
but, I try to keep a open mind.

I saw a documentary the other day that showed overwhelming proof that the sphinx is 10,000 yrs older than first thought.
