Default Torn Meniscus
I am having an MRI tomorrow to confirm my Orthopedics's suspicion of a torn meniscus in my right knee. I am totally gutted over the idea of spending another summer recovering. Last summer with a broken ankle and wrist was bad enough. (link) I have done the web research. Has anyone here had any arthroscopic knee surgeries to share?

Man, I'm glad you're ok. My step-dad tore his a decade plus ago and I remember he was in pain hell for a long time, until finally underwent surgery.

Good news! The MRI showed no tear! It did show I have moderate chondromalacia. I got a cortisone shot today. I hope to be running in a week.

Thanks Chalk, I am quite relieved! I really couldn't handle another summer laid up. I am also glad they found a reason for my pain. I am always worried that they'll say "Golly Gee, I got no idea why you are having such pain".
