Default Incorporating Alcohol into Your Diet and Being Healthy
Since a lot of you are very healthy and knowledgable about health issues, I figured I'd ask this here. I'm not a drinker at all really. I'm not a teetotaler, but I just haven't made a habit of drinking alcohol regularly. There's been some recent studies (http://www.time.com/time/health/arti...014332,00.html) saying that moderate drinkers actually outlive people who don't drink at all. Which got me thinking.

Anyway, this thread is to talk about moderate alcohol use in conjuction with a healthful diet/exercise routine. And please be very specific about your brands and recommendations and how often/with what you drink. I would be curious to know what relatively inexpensive, somewhat low calorie (i know alcohol is notoriously fattening), and pleasant tasting alcoholic beverages you all incorporate into your diets and why.
