I found the chicken in Spain to be far more succulent. Enjoy your trip RR! Sounds like a great time.

You'd have more luck with the chickens than me.

Another good course is the Marbella golf country club. I played there and if you have time it is worth it.

There will definitely be some pictures of the courses / area / etc. There will be lots of updates on my facebook page and twitter as well.

I am hoping for a video edition of the hole of the day from the round at Valderama. They are a little strict about camera usage on their course so it might call for some stealth operations...

Chicken in Portugal is divine. I've never golfed in Spain but they put out some nice golfers and playing Valderrama would be sick.

What a great trip, however I will admit that if I were going I would spend the week in northern Spain and cycling, crossing the border up through the Pyrenees... Have a great golf trip!

Awesome! A similar trip is in my future. Make sure you eat some ham. I would go to Spain just for the ham. The golf would be a bonus.

Just got my golf schedule for Marbella for the first week of October.

2 rounds at Los Naranjos Golf Club (1 practice round, 1 tournament round)

2 rounds at The Marbella Club. (1 practice round, 1 tournament round)

2 rounds at Aloha Golf Club (1 practice round, 1 tournament round)

And the icing on the cake, 1 round at Valderama.

Not too shabby for an 8 day trip.

I'll be sure to post pictures from the various courses, especially Valderama. The camera will be working overtime during that round.
