Default Alberta/BC members: Golfing Grey Wolf Tomorrow
Tomorrow marks my foray into playing premium courses. Up to this point, I have only played municipal courses that are pretty mediocre at best.
I'm playing http://www.greywolfgolf.com/the-course tomorrow so it should be pretty interesting!

Has anyone golfed here before? Any tips?

Lucky, looks like a beautiful course. I have a soft spot for mountain courses myself.

After scrolling through all the holes, I am scared of this course. Some of the holes are going to be way over my head, so hopefully it comes out ok! I will have to dial in my 130 yard par 3 shots.

Try not to go in thinking about it that way. Go out and enjoy the course as it is and don't worry about what you shoot. As you have said you don't play these types of courses usually so try to enjoy the experience.

Just played there Friday after an 1 hour 45 minute frost delay. This was my fourth time playing there. The course was in fair condition. Im a 20 handicapper and shot 91. On paper I guess the course looks hard but in reality it's not that hard. Its beautiful scenery will make up for any nervous shots. I think its number 6 (cliffhanger) that is the signature hole and well worth an extra shot (time allowing) from the back (highest) tee. They have a course guide that is very helpful. Just ask the starter. It's no charge.
I think playing the closest mens tee also helps if you are a high handicapper like me. It makes it more enjoyable IMHO.

Well after much delay, here are my results:
I shot in the triple digits as expected, but man was that course ever beautiful! I have never played anything like it. Hard, rolling, undulating fairways and hard greens that are 3x faster than any municipal green I have ever putted on. Holes that gained/lost elevation just as quickly as they went forward. I would HIGHLY recommend golfing there if you have the opportunity!

Here are some pictures I took:

Greywolf is sweet!!!! It's not as hard as it looks as it looks intimidating. If your tee game is on, you can really get a low score. Hope you had a great time Ratfink! I had some drives of my life at that course this summer. It is my fav I have ever played. I played two in one day as that was some great value! The valley has some of the best courses going.mkinda jealous here! Thanks for the pics, brings back some great memories

Glad to hear you enjoyed the course. The pics look great but I'm sure they don't do it justice.
