Default Drove a par 4 for the first time ever
So last night in my leagues fun night I drove a par 4 green for the first time. Usually if I try on the hole I'll chunk it into the water or hit it into the bank in front of the green.

It's about 245 yards to the middle and there was a slight breeze in my face (I know that's short for some of you guys but my average drive has been right around 240 or slightly less recently)

The hole

That's solid right there!! We have a hole measured out at 280 on the card but it's more like 250. Most days i'll go for it and just hope for a birdie but my cousin once hit the flag on the fly and knock the eagle putt in.

Congrats though

That hole looks like it would be fun to play.

There is NO shame in that. Well, maybe a bit.

There's a hole on my course that's reachable with driver when there's a helping wind. I don't even bother. Nothing good ever comes from going for that hole.

I would not have the cajones to try for that green in one. That is quite the hole.

What are you talking about you could do it and if you slice it you will be on the fairway.

I love holes like that. Idk if I could make it often enough for me to try. 240-50 carry is a reallly good drive for me.

Hitting a hole in one on a par 4 would be quite something. You never know, might have better luck than on a par 3 since there's no real pressure to go for the hole.

The course is Picture Butte. There are actually 2 par 4's that are drivable (doglegs about 240 for each one)
The other one probably isn't as dangerous to go for but you can't see the green because of trees which throws me off

Full water carry is awesome. I'd love to play that hole!

I ended up with a birdie, was pretty far away

I don't usually go for it, and with the wind in my face I wasn't sure I'd even get close but since I just changed to a driver with a low launching shaft and a lower angle I figured why not.

No guts no glory hole!! Awesome!

Yeah the only real place to miss there is long left/left. It's set up easier for the lefties imo. Just behind the green there's a bunker but that would give you a downhill bunker shot which is pretty tricky and if you're long you're in the trees or if you go past them you won't have a look at the green through the trees. Not easy for sure
