Right now, I'm trying to keep my left arm straighter and not collapse at the top. When I keep it straighter and slow down my back swing, I find that I can accelerate on my downswing. Not as fast as possible, but a nice even acceleration with a nice snap through the ball. When I do that, I have MUCH better, straighter and longer drives. I really don't think about my wrists right now.

Before, when I was overswinging (copying John Daly), I did have some monster drives, but I didn't know WHERE they would land, other fairways, the woods, water...etc. And, occasionally, in my own fairway!! LOL!
