Actually, the next test is the President's Cup. Lotta pressure on Tiger and Freddy Couples. |

Mr "washed up" wins The National. Bo blew it when he missed the green on the par 5 16th from 220 yards out. If he makes birdie there I think he wins, but the deflating bogie took him out of it mentally. Tiger just wears these guys out when given the chance. |

Sweetly ironic that Tiger ties Jack w/ PGA Tour wins @ 73. Now only 9 behind Sam Snead for the most all time. |

No doubt about it now, and no one can say this was a tournament w/ little competition. He has played a lot of golf this week - a practice round on Sunday @ Augusta and then some kind of team tourney called the Tavistock cup earlier this week - and it will be interesting to see how he recovers from that. I guess he will take some time of before the Masters.

Tiger shot a 62 today that could have just as easily been a 59. I don't think he missed a shot all day and had an aggressive eagle on 18 for the lead in the clubhouse. Rory 2 shots up heading into the Bear Trap after an awesome up-and-dpwn for par on 14. Rory had to make some serious up-and-downs down the stretch to hold off Tiger and earned the #1 World Ranking with his win today. |
