Default Tiger's back
Says he's healthy and ready to go. I wonder how quickly he develops a limp if things don't go right.

I feel good for him. Golf, and US golf in particular, needs him.

Made two big putts on 17 and 18 to win.

I'd like to see what the ratings were yesterday vs.the NFL. I know I was watching.

There were a few times he had the frustrated look that's held him back the last couple of years. He really didn't look like Tiger until the last two holes. I like how he walked after that shot on 18. He knew it was close.

I was as well. Except for watching your favorite sport - WC Skiing (my idol Lyndsey Vonn killing her competition for a w/e sweep) - I was glued to this. It was nice to see the Tiger Red back on my TV. This was a good test for him as Zach Johnson was a worthy opponent who was playing well, and Tiger tamed a part of this course he did badly on in the earlier rounds.

I don't know if it will last through the weekend, but Tiger is leading a pretty strong field in Australia.
And John Daly melted down once again. He Tin Cupped his way out of the tournament by hitting a bunch of balls in the water until he ran out. Lost cause. What a waste of talent.

I believe that should be President's Cup, and from the Hilites I saw he is striking the ball pretty well down under this week. Shame this tourney is not in New Zealand.

Well, I think I saw that Adam Scott is in the top 10. With any luck, they could be the final pairing on Sunday. That would be pretty sweet.

If I were Tiger, I'd be a little nervous walking along with someone carrying around 14 golf clubs, who has said that he wants to shove something up my ass.

Indeed. Very good point.

You might know....is the tournament coverage on the Golf Channel live? I see it is on this evening. If it is live, I might stay up and tune in. Although, I don't think I'd catch much of Tiger's round since he is the last to tell off and the coverage only goes until 1am eastern.

It's live. He was done before I tuned in last night, that sucked. Hopefully I'll remember tonight when I get home to see if he's going yet.

he walked off the course a month or two ago at a euro event(i think), he's the best.

I was going to write a thread about it named "John Daly Has No Balls!"

But I couldn't find a good link.

His tee time is 12:40 local time. So he should be starting at 11:40pm central time tonight. Coverage goes until midnight central time. So we'll see maybe one hole. Bummer.

Gotta give Tiger some credit here as after a 3 over 3rd round, comes back w/ another 67 to finish 3rd. only two off the lead. The next test is to see if he can repeat that or come close his next time out.
