Phil lost the ball on his very first tee shot. Credit for going back to the tee and only making a bogie. Phil and Bubba are +3 after 7. Tiger is +1.
Kevin Na is -3 after 7. Wouldn't it be great to watch his balky act over the weekend?

it's amazing that a player can lose a ball with all the guys they have on the course spotting it for you.

Phil's tried to lose his ball a couple of other times as well. He should put his 3-wood in the bag and not touch it again. He's hit it out of play four times already in 8 holes. Right now he's behind a tree with no look at the green.

I hate that you can't follow any of this on a shot tracker somewhere. And I can't get video or anything at work.

did you try this? http://www.atdhenet.tv/
works great for me. Just flash player like youtube, it might prompt you to install flv player, but just ignore it, video should start.

Blocked at work.

I'm happy to be able to see Casey Martin golfing later today I guess. And the big trio tomorrow.

Phil 5 over after 8. Now has ~40' birdie putt that announcer said is so fast it might be 20 on the Stimp

Phil is +4 after 10 (he was never +5) and at least two of his bogies were because he is stupid.

Tiger's just hitting irons and 3-woods off the tees and working his way around until he can pounce. That's what it takes in a setup like this. Bubba tried to hit his driver off the deck on the par 5 16th and begged to make bogie. The hole obliged.

And as I wrote that he stiffed it on #2 (his 12th).

Bubba looks like he doesn't want to play on the weekend.

Tiger hasn't really missed a shot yet. He's hit a few really close but those greens won't hold and he ends up with lengthier putts than he wants. He just hit another on #4 that gives him a good look at birdie.

Yup my bad... I meant to say he had 5 bogies through 8. had a birdie in the mix too.

Phil just powered a birdie putt into a possible bogie.

Uh-oh. Tiger just made a 35-40 footer to go -2 (lead is -3). This could be a "Back to the Future" weekend.
