Broken leg: victory swim puts Levet in doubt for Open

Thomas Levet is in doubt for the British Open after cracking his right fibula when he jumped into a lake to celebrate his French Open win, sources close to the golfer revealed.
After clinching his first ever French Open success, and sixth European Tour victory last Sunday, the Frenchman launched himself barefoot into a lake protecting the 18th green but hurt himself on the rocks at the bottom.
Seen to be limping heavily on Sunday night, Levet subsequently underwent scans that revealed a fracture to his right fibula.
