Par five, drove to about 175 from the green, hit a seven iron to within 15 feet of the pin and holed the putt for a 41 on the front

I had one before, but it was pure luck, I bladed a ball that just happened to go in.

Played two more holes before the mosquitos made it clear thay didn't want us on the course, so we headed in to the club house for some beer.

Nice. I need to start getting back on the golf course. I haven't played since high school on a real course or maybe I was a freshman? (4-5 years ago). I started declining and didn't have the patience. I'm older and would like to be able to play a couple rounds of golf with co-workers/clients down the road and not be the laughing stock for the day.

I've eagled all four par fives on my course and not one of them was a putt. They were all legit.

Congrats. The best I have ever done on a hole was par, and it was total luck. Holed out from about ten yards off the green.

I just meant I had no patience before. I think if I had the patience I'd be better than I was. The no patience thing led me to lift my head real early and slice it all the time.
