Default I Miss Golf
I mean I'm really starting to miss it. I live in Maryland and that means that the snow/ice usually melts over time and you can usually play every other weekend if you are prepared to play in the cold. But not this year.

I was at the gym last night and ran into a guy I play tennis with during the summer. We were talking about the upcoming leagues and season and I could tell I was starting to get the itch. Once I get the tennis itch, I know the golf itch is right there with it.

That's usually how it is when you get older.

First the tennis itch, then the golf itch....then the shuffleboard itch starts gettin' ya, too.

Got nine holes in late yesterday. Opened with five straight pars, then went double, triple, double. April Fools on me.

Heading to LA for a long weekend on Thursday. My pro is going to try to set up a game for me out there, but I'm not bringing my sticks. Too much trouble since I'm carrying on.

When the snow melts, I discovered a driving range within 10 minutes of work. I plan to kill a couple of buckets this spring...

Eating buckets is not recommended

The idea is to hit the balls that you find IN the bucket. The buckets dion't carry very far.

I just found out a course about 10 minutes from my house added a heated driving range this year. I might try to head over there in the next couple weeks to start hitting a little.

Nope. They added a little garage-looking building onto their driving range that you hit out of. They packed in a bunch of heaters so you can hit without a jacket and gloves on.

There are a couple indoor ranges that I know of around me, but those are each at least 30 minutes from my house.

But you'd still need the jacket and gloves until at least mid-June if you were actually playing, right?

I am with everyone (well atleast those of us in the north) on this one. I am missing golf like you wouldn't believe. But it is slowly creeping up on us. This week has been perfect weather and only getting better. The snow has been gone for a few weeks, the courses will be drying out. I am thinking it is about time to start hitting the ranges and get my game back in shape.

I hit 56 rounds last year, but this year with work I will be lucky to get 20 in. Still I cannot wait for my first round.

I am also hoping to get a round in when in Vegas this summer. Any courses I should play down there?
