Default 74 today
And pretty happy about it. 37-37.

Birdied 10 and 11, then had some trouble, then parred out. 1 3 putt.

The new r9 seems to be doing the job since I moved the shaft 2 clicks to the left.

thats a round to be proud of.......I am happy if i can break 100...

I was taking a few lessons a few years back and my pro asked me what my goal was.....

I was hoping to play bogie golf.....ultimately break 90....

He asked me how much time I had to devote to play and practice....

with that answer, he just replied......NO

Before I read your post I thought you meant you were 74, and I was going to wish you a happy birthday.

Congrats on the great game.

Nice score. Did you recently hire Gresh to be your coach?

Something bad that happened yesterday while we were in the bar after we finished. The girls that always play came in, one was holding her face and the others were helping her get to the bathroom. One was asking for ice.

Turned out that she had walked right in front of another girl's practice swing and got a cut under her eye. A bad one.

By girls I mean women.

The worst swing i've ever witnessed killed a rabbit that was hanging out to the left of us with some other bunnies and the guy shanked his ball right into the bevy of bunnies...it hit one and the rabbit keeled over, thumped a few times then died.

We made him pay bigtime (at the 19th hole) for the memory of him having killed a bunny.

Pretty happy.... that's a fantastic score, is it your best?

Does the r9 allow you to open or close the face?

The adjustable shaft tip is bent some way, you take the shaft out and turn it one way or the other to promote draw or fade.

I think I shot a 73 once.

I never hit a fade or draw, I'm much better at hitting a slice or a hook.

Happened to me when I was 12. Still have a nice scar there.
Where are you that you are playing golf? Weathers been great here in Philly but the ground is still way too damp to play. Hopefully by the weekend.

Southern Illinois, we were even allowed to get the carts off the cart paths last weekend.

We just opened for walkers today. 3 greens closed for various reasons.

Managed to get in 7 holes late yesterday. Boy, do I suck.

They must have taken down 100 trees on the course over the winter. I love it. Most of them were not in play anyway and all they did was cut down the sun and air flow. The grass should be a lot healthier this year.
