Way to go.

Some guys at work were talking about a tournament they played in down at Cape Girardeau over the weekend, an alumni high school deal. They said some guy made a hole in one and won $10,000. Then on the next hole his team eagled, so they got all the skins, over $1200.
I guess he became an instant professional golfer?

Don't they have pretty strict rules about winning cash money at golf?

The deuce pot is the only $ given out at league that I'm aware of. Every other prize, including the championship, is spent in the pro shop.

Good value for the dollar there...

I think they changed that rule but it's kind of complicated.

I'd go ahead and take the money anyhow.

I always wondered about how they did the Oldmobile Scramble deal back in the day. I went to a regional event in Wyoming a long time ago.

Came to find out they gave you mostly symbolic prizes, while you paid your way to events around the country, providing you won.
