Default A round and a Half
Tiger has to make up 3 shots, and has about a round and a half to do it (they have to finish the rest of yesterdays round because of rain).

Any doubts here?

I fully expect him to steamroll the field. I was watching the tournament thursday and actually found myself rooting for the son of a bitch. I felt so ashamed.

This might be the first time in my life that I actually PLAN to sit and watch a Golf Tourney.

Normally, I'll watch a few minutes here and there, just because there isn't anything else on. I'm all about seeing how long he can keep this streak going though. It isn't like the Pats, where they won all those games in a row against ONE team. Tiger against the entire field, and winning all these things in a row, is mind boggling.

I admit it, I'm now a fan.

Jack Nicklaus fan all my life and I can't stand seeing his records broken. Kind of like Gordon passing Earnhardt in wins, or Bonds passing Aaron in homers.

Tiger Woods is so far ahead of everyone else that no one can beat him. The only way he loses is if he beats himself (through a bad decision, going for the wrong pin, choosing the wrong club, taking a bad gamble).

How many Golfers normally enter a tournament? I mean, would it basically be like Tiger against 100 other Golfers each week?

The Laws of average say that he has to lose sooner than later...right?

I think normally it's 130-144. Then after the 2nd round the cut puts it down to 60-75.
You'd think the odds would say that but they all know he's so much better than they are, I think he causes them to fuck up when they hear him coming.

Any idea if the make up round is on TV today? I think they said Tiger tee's off at 10.

I just now flipped to the golf channel trying to find out about that. I haven't found anything out yet.

It seems like TGC would jump all over the opportunity to show this.

I'm hoping they do. I know the network won't, since they have Easter programming already lined up (local church services).

Golf channel has been showing replays of the tournament at night.

I've said it before.

I'm not a fan of golf, but Tiger is such an amazing athlete that I can't help but notice his greatness.

I'm not necessarily a Tiger fan per se, but I respect the hell out of the guy.

I hope he pulls it out today. I'm also hoping everyone wilters around him to make it a bit easier. If he finished the third round with a couple of birdies, he'll be in great shape.

Oh yeah, I only watch golf because of Tiger.

Tiger parred the back 9 and is now 5 shots behind Geoff Ogilvy (-16)
Ahead of him are
Vijay Singh -12
Graeme Storm -12
Reteif Goosen -12
Jim Furyk -12
Adam Scott -12

Tiger is -11

When Vijay and Storm were shooting 63, Furyk and Goosen shooting 64, Tiger shot 72.

He's really got his work cut out for him.

Didn't he overcome a 5 shot deficit last week?

Still, it doesn't look very good with all those names in front of him.

He's not playing with any of those people ahead of him either.

It certainly depends on the tournament. This tourney has 79. He has a round to make up five strokes now. I'm guessing the streak will end.

I don't really mind him losing. It definitely sucks, but there's no chance he's going to go an entire year without losing. Just get it out of the way and it will take a lot of stress off and will calm down some of the media.

I've got to laugh at some of the articles I've read this morning. Dude finishes fifth in a field of 80 and it sounds like he looked like a hack out there from the way these things are written. Tiger just couldn't get anything going. The guy sucked. He may as well have not shown up. Fifth, psshht.

Only 2 shots back. I see him miss more putts than that yesterday that he usually makes.

Looks like Graeme Storm pulled an ryr like choke job as I look at the results.
