If you're a 5 handicap, I'd say whatever you are playing is pretty good for you.

There's a lot of things the proper golf ball choice depends on. Swing speed, tendencies, and other things throughout your golf game. Handicap is not necessarily one of them. I suggest going through a live ball fitting, though if that is not possible, then try going through a Bridgestone B-Fit or any other OEM's ball fitting online. Bridgestone's is the only one I know of that you can chat with a representative live though.

I like the round ones as well but as previously said, if you are a 5, you are doing it right and should be able to play with anything.

Are you guys saying my handicap is around 15, cause I am not playing a round golf ball? LOL

If you are 5 handicap, whatever ball you've been using is working. I recently switched to B330RX and been very happy...and do sometime play Bstone e5...just due to the cost of these balls are not wallet friendly.

Hex Black is the best ball I've played. Very long and great around the green.
