Its in the grip....
Bring your right more over your left hand and "tighten" the grip... it will feel awkward at first and it will need some range practice but I am willing to guarantee this will eliminate your problem... Most wild shaped shots with woods and the driver can be stopped by "loosening" or "tightening" your grip as it will also slightly affect your takeback.. ~Shane |

Another non-hooking hybrid is the Nike VR_S or VR_S Tour. I am a hooker when I miss and The regular VR_S does just fine. Very square setup (I think it is actually 1* open), great look and feel, great ball flight and distance. I hit everything at a demo day and it was by far the clear winner for me. Easy to hit straight or turn left or right.

I have no help for you here, for me it is more of a mental thing than anything I believe. I can't look down at a hybrid with that much offset or I will immediately think hook. I don't know if that is your problem or not, but that is my experience with them |

I had to get rid of my much loved Mashie for this and this alone, there was too much offset for my game and I couldn't stope hooking the crap out of it. . .I'm not too sure what opening the face or even putting a little lead tape on the toe would do though
I can tell you though that this is well documented on the 2011 Mashies |

Another thing to do is to trade in or sell the M4 and get the Mashie tour, a few of the cleveland Morgan Cup staffers recommended me to do that, unfortunately I had already walked out of the store with the R11 rescue-best club in my bag at the moment, and I got it for $80 after trading in some ol junk I had

Anytime I notice myself hooking a ball with a club (offset or not), I pay close attention to where I have it positioned in my stance. I have this problem with my hybrid from time to time and just have to remind my self to play it a little further back in my stance. My hooking problems arise from getting my hands turned over just a touch before I hit the ball. If I play it back a little, they don't have time to get turned over as far and I hit it straighter.

Yeah, I might have to trade it in. How's the Rescue? |

Hooking with offset club? In terms of technique, don't come as hard from the inside, try to feel like you're going to hit a slice to take away the hook. |

On your takeaway, stop the club about halfway and see where the toe of the club is pointing, it should be pointing to the sky, if it is not, take a look at how you are taking away the club, you want to take away the club so that the logo on your glove is pointing outwards or up to the sky as well.. See if that works. You could just be taking the club away very closed.
