Alright who prefers to play a round solo or with a group? I find I concentrate the most by myself but I enjoy playing with friends so much more. It seems to go 2 ways tho. It's either I do really well because they are (feeding off eachother kinda thing) or I just lose my head and do awful. Any thoughts?

I always prefer to play with friends. If that is not an option and the course is not crowded I play alone, if its crowded I have no problem being paired up with others. I will say I flat out hate slow play and if I am paired and they are slow, bye bye. |

Yeah slow play drives me nuts. Luckily my courses aren't too crowded until the weekend so if I go in the afternoon it's fine. JB we gotta get a THP stop further up north. If I wasnt do far away from AC I'd make the trip. I'm sure it's a blast ![]() |

Figured there could be a happy medium...... I was under the impression there were a lot of THPers in NY and new England area so a stop wouldnt be out of the question |

Advantages to both.
Solo: I can drop a few extra balls and practice shots, bunkers, putts, etc. Group: more enjoyable, always laughing, little competition, etc With that said, playing with other THP'ers is the best. Luckily, I am doing that multiple times this year - just awesome playing with others that share a real love for the game and this forum. |
