Default All Golfed Out!
I actually didn't think this was possible but after going to Orlando for a week, I realized it can happen. I played two rounds every day for 6 days straight. The courses I played on were fantastic. I met some great people and not so great during this time. But I shot a 81, 82, 82, 85, 85, 83, 83, 81, 84, 85, 86, 84. I played some of my best golf in my entire life. Now I need to rest.

I used to think it was possible but I found out that it was the extra curricular actives that I embark on while on golf trips that do me in. Lately I'm trying to play as absolute much as possible and I'm loving it. Ok, I haven't been Plato f quite as much as you had been though! Sounds like an awesome trip!

This is why I am so excited. I played hard courses and still played under my handicap. I am thinking my home course, which is a mountain course) makes me think I am worse than I really am.

Every one should be able to just play golf for a week straight. It just makes you feel like a man.

Darn, that's a lot of golf. THe most I've ever played is 3 rounds in 2 days when on a fall trip to OC, MD. I'll bet your game improved with all of that. Nice scores.

Nice rounds posted TME. I guess it doesn't hurt to go to the pool for a couple hours and catch a break. Then back to the course.

Your index is about to go down - Congrats!

I'm headed to Minnesota in less than a week to visit family and go on our annual trip with 3 other families to Cragun's resort. Golf every morning and boating/jet skiing all afternoon. We've been doing this trip for 14 years straight and it's my favorite of the year as I have tee times 6 straight days - all of them at 7:00 am(first tee time of the day). They courses in the Brainerd area are amazing if any of you get a chance. I highly recommend The Classic, Deacon's Lodge, The Legacy Courses at Cragun's, or any of the Pines courses - all of them are outstanding and difficult(they all have slope ratings of 137 - 142 off the back tees). I hope to get in 11 rounds of golf in the 14 days I'm there!!!

Never thouget it would happen to me either. This years outing was great and I was salivating at unlimited golf everyday. By the end of of the last day all I had left was enough energy to make the last putty on the last hole. Guess I timed it pretty good. I was drained but five minutes later I was already looking forward to next year.

TapAhoy!

Well I am golfed out for another reason, seems as I have played more this year than some time, with that increase level of play and practice I know have a pretty painful cases of golfers elbow on both sides. So now think I hve to take a few weeks off and seek treatment. Good thing is I know what it is, and how to treat it. I still plan on getting 2-3 practice sessions a week and just work on chipping, short pitches and putting so at least my short game should improve. Sounds like you had a great trip, I use to take some myrtle beach trips and get. 3-5 days of 36 holes a day, but have not done that since my mid twenties.

Some nice solid scoring there....I did that earlier in the year I played 6 days straight with a couple of days of 36 holes and I was just whipped be the last day.

Of course in about I week and I half I will be in Myrtle Beach for the Morgan Cup...I took off Tuesday of that week so I will probably play 36 Tuesday....travel on Wednesday, playing 36 Thursday, Media Day with lots of range Friday, 36 Saturday, 18 Sunday and some of us talked about playing 18 Monday too

I used to get golfed out every summer from my teenage years until I was in my late 20's. I would average 140 rounds each Minnesota summer between mid April and early September. That's averages out to 1 round per day although many of my days off work I would play 36 or more holes. I would look forward to hunting and ski season so I could put my clubs away for 7 months. In recent years I average about 35 rounds per year and would love it if I could get back to playing 50 rounds per year! Marriage and 3 kids are to blame!

Is it possible to be all golfed out?
