Well it's a day later and I'm still excited about shooting a 86 yesterday.

My best 18 holes I have shot to date. And I gave my buddy a thorough butt whooping by 13 strokes. If it wasn't for a couple penalty strokes on hole 11 and a couple holes I dug on my approach shot on 13 I could have shot a 82. And when I get a new putter no more 3 puts and a lot more birdies or pars I am hoping.

I must say if it wasn't for THP and the great reviews and advice I have gotten here I might not have made the leap in buying a new set of clubs. TaylorMade Burner 2.0 Hybrid Iron set. The clubs have truly improved my game.
Thanks THPers, next goal is to stay in the 80's then on to the 70's.

Congrats! My brother is getting back into the game after taking a few years off and wanted to buy some used irons. We steered him towards the Burner 2.0 since he was looking for a good price. He was talking about buying clubs that were 13 years old! I hope he has the same success as you!

Congrats Dave, you have to love the feeling of shooting your best round ever. It just makes you want to go out and do it again and again. Plus you beat your buddy. That's always good too.
