Default Battle at Bighorn
For those who remember the Battle at Bighorn between Tiger and Sergio, don't you wish they would do something like that again?

Maybe this time though, they could do something between Rory and Rickie Fowler. I dunno, I guess I just don't get enough of watching golf. Little matches like this are a blast to watch though. If I remember right Tiger was in a couple of these, maybe against David Duval once? My memory is fading, but I do remember sitting in my living room on a Monday evening watching them battle it out with the baseball field style lights on the last 3 or 4 holes.

Those were awesome, I remember them too. It would be cool to bring back some of the old rivalries from the 80s 90s and 2000s and put it out there for us to see.

I remember the first one was Tiger vs Duval when DD was #1 in the world. It was kind of cool to watch. I was really starting to enjoy golf then so I made it a point to watch it. Unfortunately, if you did Rory vs Luke, or Rory vs Westwood would anyone watch? Do Phil vs Tiger and you'll get some viewers and some way off line shots.

I believe the true made for TV golfer, Freddie Couples, started these things. And TW picked up where he left off.

I remember when TW and Anika teamed up against Webb/Duval

Wow I was not probably old enough and enough of an avid golfer to remember these.. Sounds like it would be great for the sport (IF they had the right players, which the sport probably doesn't have right now.)

These events were fun to watch. I didn't like seeing Tiger beat down Duval though.

Hmmm, I never saw any of these and don't know what they're about exactly, but they sound pretty cool. I'd love to see one.

I didn't really watch much of these, as these were on as I was getting away from the game, but I think it would be cool if the Golf Channel got something like this going again with the top players going head to head.

These were great. Imagine something like Ricky and Paige vs Rory and Paula.

maybe have a few matches going on and have 1 of them be Tiger vs Phil

Well you wouldn't have to do a Rory vs Luke even though I still think you would get quite a bit more viewers than you think. It doesn't have to be a #1 vs #2 event. Like I mentioned earlier, think if you did an event with Rory and Rickie who could be considered as the next big rivalry for golf. Have them play a match similar to the Battle at Bighorn. Or as somebody else mentioned, get some LPGA players to team up with them. The possibilities are endless for what you could do.

The best thing about these events, that I remember anyways, was they were fun and light-hearted. The golfers played good golf and obviously wanted to win, but you also got to see them having fun and joking with one another. It wasn't as serious I should say as an official PGA/LPGA tour event.

Hopefully they decide to do one of these events again, cause I know a lot of people enjoyed watching them.

Battle at bighorn was sweet, but the best were the shells wonderful world of golf matches. You had jack vs Johnny miller at Olympic. You had couples vs Raymond Floyd. My gave was Trevino vs Palmer vs jack in Mexico. Lee layer wast to both of them. This was the stuff they used to fill the offseason with and they were classics. Now, it's like there is no offseason. Bring back the stuff that made us like these guys, where they talk golf walking to the next shot. Tiger vs Phil, Rory vs Lee Westwood, battle of the golf boys, what a matchup you could have. The only thing left is the skins game and that isn't compelling without Jack and Arnold.

I doubt it. Maybe in the future, they might show them again on Golf Channel.

I did do a quick search on Amazon and came up with nothing.
