I try to get set up on the email specials list for all of the area course so I never pay more than 30$ during the week. My local course, which gives a discount if you live in the City I am from is closed for renovations this year, but I normally paid $17 during the week, and $23 on the weekends. I cant wait for the course to open back up, although I have a feeling they will raise their rates when they do.

Man am I jealous of all these sub-$30 options. I live in SF and play either Harding Park for $60 to walk or Presidio GC which is $75 to ride (no reduced fee to walk) on the weekends. These are my regulars, but are really well maintained courses. My cheaper options have bad greens, soggy fairways, and dandelions (or those annoying white flowers that make it hard to find your ball) for $30-40.

Membership costs me $160/month at my home course. No cart fee since I am a walker.

I can walk onto most courses in the DFW area for $25 on an average course, $40 on a nice course, $70 for the really nice courses, and $125 for the best 3-4 courses in the area.

living in south Florida I have a lot of golf around, so it really ranges from 30-400 for a round, just a matter of that you will actually willing to pay.

most courses around here are $20-30 for 18 holes to walk and then another $25-30 for a cart but it is very rare to see people in a cart where I am. I pay $500 for a yearly membership and that includes unlimited play.

Default What does 18 holes cost in your area?
I'm a member at a local public course and I pay about $50 a month membership, 18 holes with a cart is $15.

I think non-members pay $28 weekdays and weekends.

Private courses in the area range from $40 to $72 for non-members.

I can go from $20 on a weekday to $130 on a weekend, but it's very top heavy. More expensive than cheap. Lots of courses around here.

Around here for green fee's you are looking at $60-$200 during the season with the average being right around $80 and these prices don't include cart. In the off season take about 30% off those prices.

For membership to one of the clubs here you are looking around $300-$400 a month.

The cheapest course in the area I think is still $10 to walk. I'm not sure how much it is to ride because I never do there. They only have about 10 carts, but the course is short enough to walk easily (only 9 holes). Other courses go anywhere from 30 to 60. There's quite a few options that are around here that are reasonably priced.

$45/month and $8 w/cart during the week. Not a great course, but close to work and has a range. There are some decent quality courses close by that we play during the week in the summer. Much better quality.

Around here we have some nice courses that only run you about $45 with cart. Do have some private courses that are with members only and run 150, but this course has hosted USGA (boys and girls jr nationals and women's team nationals)events in the last few years. That by far is the nicest course in the area. Glad we have such inexpensive golf for the quality seeing what other people are paying!

most courses around here are 70 - 80 bucks then 18 bucks more if you want a cart and weekends is about another 15 - 20. In the summer me and my buddies get a twilight time (after 5 pm) and pay about 65 with a cart and we easily get in 18 the sun stays out late in the summer.

Didn't mention that in season on Tuesdays my local course is play all you can after 3 for $15 (members) and $25 (non-members). It doesn't get dark till 9 mid-summer, 27 holes is a breeze. The course isn't at $70-$80 course, but it is in pretty good shape most of the time.

My course is a muni and as a senior golfer I join for $375 per year, then it is $10.70 to rent a cart or free to walk. In my area I pay any where from $15 to $60 to play 18 and ride. GolfNow is awesome.
