My friend had speakers built into his bag and would play rock music and ghetto rap while he played. I can't do it. On the range or practice green, sure. On the course, no way.

I think its extremely dangerous not to be able to hear "FORE!".

I sometimes play with a friend that likes to play music during his rounds. Sometimes it bothers me, sometimes it doesn't. Just depends on how I am playing that day I guess.

Personally though, I have never done it myself. I prefer to enjoy the nature around me...

The cords annoyed me, so I didn't do it after the first time.

I hummed a whole lot of Katy Perry last summer during the rounds...why don't know, but sometimes it would work if I'd keep the same song in my head for the whole round, keeps the rhythm...but if I'd change tunes...allgobatshit. Nothing against Mrs.Perry, but I'm more of a rock type of guy, so let's hope for better tunes next season!

Not something I like, for safety reasons while playing. I think you need to be aware of what is happening around you.
I wouldn't and don't. The music I listen to doesn't lend itself to a controlled tempo.
That about sums it up for me.

Agree with the posts saying its to dangerous, not worth getting a slap of a ball cos i was to busy listening to music.

I do like to listen to my ipod while on the putting green i find it helps me focus before going to the first tee

I tried it once for about three holes. Turned my iPod off and immediately started playing better.
